For the M Performance Steering Wheel II, no addendum is required in the vehicle documents or an operating permit to be carried. The approval is regulated for the corresponding vehicles by BMW within the EC overall approval.

When installing with SA 248 (steering wheel heating), the heating function is omitted, decoding is not necessary. The switch for the steering wheel heating remains without function.
